definately genus
Gehyra most likely G.Dubia or G .variegata. my money is on G.variegata.
G.dubia is found along the east coast and inland from central north nsw through central qld to cape york peninsular and some islands in torres straight.
G.variegata is found across most of australia from western aus through nt, sa, qld and nsw and a tiny nrth/west corner of vic.
