The Frog Cage

the water in the frog cage is gettin smelly cos it is stagnent and they shti in it but it is a terarium so no cords can really go in n out rite now i have just a air pump in there so the water isnt stagnent but i need sum sort of pump that will sit on the side of the glass and filter the water which will solve both problems does any1 noe a name of a pump that runs on batts and sticks to glass or if any1 has a diff solution plz tell

if you let bacteria build up your frogs will fall prone to disease and cark it, simple as
that mate. regular water changes are must, even with a filter.
put up some pics of your tank so we can see what your on about. Your frog tank should NEVER be smelly.
battery pumps are useless for all but emergencys with fish etc, like blackouts, batteries will last a day or so at most, pointless. youll have to find a way to run a lead in, you can cut glass.

k ill clean it today the cage is only a week old

I change the water every few days, replacing with dechlorinated water and clean the enclosure weekly, (branches etc sterilised, the worx)

Crap should be removed Daily.

Small things, frogs, turtles, lizards and so on, are ALOT of work daily, but, like anything, if you keep it your responsible to give it the best possible conditions and quality of life.

If daily cleaning and fussing is too much work, stick to snakes.

nah i love all reptiles i dont mind cleaning them out
but i havnt done the full on clean yet today imma do it 2morrow cos today i fixed 1 of the rats cages and made 2 mealworms breedin cages which i plan on startin up 2morrow as well
