I want to know the part number or some more information other than T10 for the NEC 'blacklight' that a lot of people seem to be using for beardies. I am trying to work out if it is actually the 'bug zapper' purple fluro or another type. apparently this light has one of the highest uvb outputs but im having trouble with electrical suppliers understanding which one im on about??? can anyone help me please!~!!

I think this is Them Hayley, though ive never used them, I personally prefer to give my animals natural light. Go to page 5
Comments: i try to get them outside for at least an hour each aweek, although that doesn't seem like enough to me and I've read that you need the uvb in with them if you can't give them plenty of the real thing. What is enough?

Mine go out for maybe 4-6 hrs a week over the weekends, they seem to thrive. Cloudy days they still get Uv and you can leave them out all day provided you make sure they can keep cool find shade should the sun come out. Most difficult part is making sure they are cool enough in the shade on really hot days, im thinking of an insulated 'cave'.
