recently did a trip to Murray bride in SA and I saw so many road kills I was so disappointed that ppl didn't try and avoid hitting reptiles, what HAS disgusted me is the reptiles that are run over on the shoulder emergency lane for no other reason then for plain cruelty.
Any way I manage to save a few from this fate and relocate them to a local national park in that region.

its stupid that it is illegal to move any animal let alone the reptiles to the side of the road so they dont get hit

i can c y it is illegal so if sum1 gets hurt the government can say its against the law(so they can guard thier @r$e

if u noe wat ur doin u should be able to

well i still do it anyway wen i c them, like really whos goin to care if u save an animal

Nice Pic Scrubber! A thing I learnt recently about that is that with roadside turtles, you cant put them back on the same side of the road. They unneringly head straight back in the direction they were going, meaning eventually they head back acrross the road. So you have to take across the road and sit them in the direction they were heading.
Intresting and true, my turtles do it in the backyard. smile.gif
