the import laws are very tricky here, they vary from province to province, some require and environmental impact study, then apply for permits, if a quarintine station is not setup then its all cancelled, basically it comes down to the mood of the official that issuing the permit.
some have managed to get it right by bringing in thru differnt parts of the country. there is a guy in the western Cape that imports from Bob Clark in the states.
but most of the times its just too damn expensive to bring stuff in legally.

Yeah the little critter can cause the same tissue damage as mum. The only access I have to AV is at a hospital so I try being very careful.
