Kinky has to go to the vet tomorrow and will most likely be put down. - He has prolapsed badly - up to almost 2 inches. - By the usual treatment the majority has gone back in except for the last 2 cms. But it seems to have busted and no longer a smooth tube. Have had a friend look at him, but he dosn't think Kinky will come good. The amount of stress the little fella has gone through has also made him loose a lot of weight as well (he usually dosn't get handled much), and in his condition with the need of handling every day is just too much for the little guy. This is after just 2 weeks of him being like that. Before I didn't really even know what prolapse was - I knew it was something that happened to GTPs but that's about it. One morning I went to check on all the snakes, and there was a really horrid smell. so checking all the cages I came across Kinky with a red smelly thing hanging out of his butt essentially, and viola prolapse. Most likely because of his spinal problems, and the heat.
