Its amazing and awesome creature but I guess I feel about them as some folk do about snakes etc.

That looks wicked Stonesour, would love to have some tarantula's but it'd take me a while to be comfortable with having them crawling on my hands like that, think it'd be look only for me. Australian tarantula's are supposed to have a very painful bite, i imagine yours would too.

It has only bitten me twice, and that was when I first got it. It felt like a bee sting, thats about it. It used to flick the hairs on its back, thats its main defense. The hairs cause a rash and they make you itch, but it doesn't flick the hairs anymore either.
