Thanks pugsly smile.gif
Yeah its a bit risky but once you work with a snake for a short while its easy to see what their limits are, which then determine your own wink.gif I really enjoy trying to get pics of elapids though, my computer is beginning to turn into a bloody photographic guide lol.
catch ya later,
Brendan.

brendan next time u come to the NT tell me

Brendan- 10-28-2005

Its not really my position to give out location names but road spotting by night is the go, for the snakes anyway.

The first trips reptile count:
24 water pythons
1 golden treesnake
1 mulga snake
1 keelback
4 slatey-grey snakes
2 moon snakes
1 northern snake-necked tortoise
4 spotted tree monitors (v. scalaris)
1 blunt spined monitor (v. primordius)
1 mertens water monitor (v. mertensi)
few dragon and gecko species.

The second trips reptiles count:
Olive python-3
Childreni- 6
Keelback- 3
Arafura filesnake- 50+
Western brownsnake- 3
Water python- 6
Moon snake- 2
Blindsnake- 1
Floodplains death adder (a. hawkei)- 1
Weigeli- 1
Brown tree snake- 2
Slatey-grey snake- 2
Darwin carpet python- 2
Lots of frillies and other dragons, tortoises, geckos
1 yellow spotted monitor (v. panoptes)

Those listed are the species in which we caught. We saw a lot more monitors and missed a few western browns on the roads.
Ill post up some pics for you soon.
cya,
Brendan.

Cool you know you can just attach the image its so much easier I do that all the the time here when I want to use a image in the post.

Inny- 03-11-2006
Actally attaching is a pain in the arse, you can only attach 1 pic each post. we have an image uploader. please read this thread.

http://herproom.5.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=386

Its a big grey button that says "UPLOAD IMG" you can find it below any thread in fast reply or in add reply.
