What a gorgeous Animal! How lucky you are mate, Is it male or female? will you get a mate for it and try breeding? Im assuming its male because its so colorful (i may be wrong) females are generally less colorful? 
Yep its a male, I am planning on getting him a mate sometime this year a try a go at breeding. You are right on the whole color differencs on the males and females too.
