Hey guys, these are my 2 new beardies ( vitties), they are a white face morph, and there uncles and aunties are albinos, so they are hets for albino . . Hope to get some clutches out if them in 2 yrs or so

yer im hoping for them to produce babies in couple of years and if there arnt any albinos in there ill keep 2 hold back and breed them etc till i get some lol, apperntly albino beardies are allergic to UV light, so there is a bit of a problem with that thing, i got them of daniel cull in sydney. I havent named them yet but i will soon, thanks heaps guys, spike

yer i heard that they dont tolerate UV cause it cooks their stomach linings cause they are so delicate. i also heard that not 1 has servived yet (albinos i mean).

Dont see how uv would cook stomach linings, maybe too much sun (heat) would cook them.

there good inny, had a bit of a problem with the female, but she is getting better, and male is going fine. There are 2 yearling albino beardies that bob withey has, that are strugling ith the care and are far to small for there size so ive heard. And another guy has a 2yr old, he is a member on aps... cant wait to see pics when i am allowed back on the site haha.

Nice beardies you've got there spike! You seem to be getting quite a nice collection of them! I can't wait to get a camera and I'l post some pics of the new beardies I've got here too. I havn't heard about the albino/UV reaction. Is it prooven or just assumed? Also would love to see the pics of the albinos too! (I just love albinos - of any sort!!)

I think it is proven, was a recent wanted thread on aps about albino beardies (happened while i was suspended for hipocritical circumstances, DAMMIT!!) and it turned into a chit chat thread with i think 4 pages? and a guy on there claims to have been given an albino beardie of an old guy(he died the old fellow) and the old guy raised it in outside light and let it eat certin herbs etc and its seems to have been surviving good, but one fact i do know posted buy bob withey is that heat mats are a far better heat source to albino's than heat light, and you need to give em lots of calcium powder and they do not develop at a normal rate as other beardies.

lol i was suspended because i was posting chit chat in for sale forum, and i believe it was hipocritical circumstances because the mods can do it and the adults can do it but not a 14 yr old kid? ..hipocrites.. And i was told i was suspended, but my account was actually deleted, which means i lost all my pm's and i had got quiete a few whilst suspended, and i was waiting on a pm from someone who i was going to buy mice from for breeding. so they completely F**ked up several situations... just great!
