Daniel, I strongly advise you to rehouse the turtle mate. Turtles and fileys dont get along. If the filey grows faster it will eat the turtle, if not the turtle will begin to harass the filey as it grows and may do it serious harm. Not only that, temps required for the filey 29c/30c are too hot for turtle. you will will have problems with this.
The warmer the temp, the faster the the metabolism, meaning the turtle will require more food, more often, this dosent sound like a problem but
feeding too often will lead to growth problems with bone/shell developement and may cause deformities.. In either case your turtles life will be considerably shorter due to metabolic burnout, if it dosent get eaten first.
My advice would be get another tank, very soon.

the lady i bought the turtles and the file snake from had all they file snake hatchys n adult files with a yearling turtle
and she had fully grown turts and file snakes together as well and neva had any problems and she said mine will be fine
as for the temps im not usin a heater so ethier way the turtles water wuld b this hot anyway, i was goin to use a heater 4 the file snake but it has eatin in the temp it is in and shuld b fine
i have been advised on all of this with a person with alot of experience and she knows wat she is talkin about and do u noe any1 that has had file snakes give birth???????
