The latest addition to the 'family', 5 marbled geckos. They're pretty cool - at night they're always running around chasing crickets and I've already seen a few shed. Took some pictures, hope you like them.

they are great, are you hoping to breed them? do they eat alot?

Hello Jason. I'm learning as I go with these geckos! I havn't been able to get a great lot of information about them in regards to caresheets. At the moment I buy a container of sml crickets a week for them. Now I've learnt they eat mealworms I'm going to give them a try next week and see how they go - I've been told to 'squish' the worms head and than put in a smal dish for the gecks to feed on. Hopefully they will breed - I believe they would be like any other repitle in regards to if they're kept right they should breed! So hopefully all go wells with that! If they do though I'm sure to keep every1 posted!

They look pretty cool Foxy, geckoes are my next ''thing''. Am hunting down Knobby's and spiny tails. Great how this hobby has so many different roads to walk down isn't it?

Yeah, parko I love the gecks - they're cool! I thought I'd start with some marbled gecks and go from there. Next I want some thicktails - so cute!

Ultimate Reptile Supplies has Eastern Spiny Tail gecko adults for $150 each at the moment - cheapest price I've seen them yet.

OK! Sorry every1, I have found the last escapee gecko! - I stayed up all night the other night chasing it! I found it was hiding behind the fridge. The fridge sits inside a cupboard which actually opens and runs behind all the kitchen cupboards. I took the fridge out (left it hooked up lucky it has a long lead!) and the gecko kept poking its head out and by the time I tried to grab it it'd run back up behind the cupboards. Seeing as I'm short and have short arms, it was 'safely' out of my reach! (I'm 161cm) So after a few hours it took a run and jumped on the floor and I grabbed it! Very happy and very tired(it was 4 am by the time I went to sleep), I put it away and none of them can now escape. biggrin.gif
