I love your snakes! They look like they love soaking in water! - How often do you get to take them out and put in the bathtub?

Anaconda_Guy- 12-11-2005
Sorry, I was just posting pics of the Anacondas in this one, lol.smile.gif I will post pics of the super tiger sometime pretty soon though, I left out the GTP also. I get them out and soak them usually between 1-3 times a week. Whenever I clean out their cage, it's the best place to put them so they wont go anywhere so I can work on their cage as long as I want.smile.gif Thanks for the comments!:)

You have a Gtp? green tree python? lucky you, bring on pics! cool.gif

Anaconda_Guy- 12-12-2005

Man have I had a busy day, and sad news also... I'm having to sell my super tiger retic... SINCE my yellows are basically breeding, I'm going to need to take care of that female too... And I'm getting in 3 new 7' cages, and I just need the room for my condas... Right now my cage stack is going to be 9' high, and I still need one more 7' cage! So you will probably strickly see Anaconda and GTP pics from here on out... Sorry guys! But yes, a GTP, I just got him to eat today! Awesome little bugger!:) I will get some new pics of him later!

Ah thats too bad Ben, hope you find him a good home mate. dont stack your cages too high, a collapse would be disaster. looking forward to the gtp pics too.
I hear there quite easier to obtain there, very expensive here, kinda the holy grail of pythons! cool.gif

Anaconda_Guy- 12-13-2005
I'm sure I will... I really don't want to sell him at all, but I just don't have the room with all these cages coming in.. I'm not worried about a collaspe, they are made to be stacked, so it's all good.smile.gif I'm more worried about finding a way to the top! lol. Anyways, this is the reason I'm needing all the cage space also!

My male Anacondas are horny devils... Females don't seem to want to put out as much, but in good time.smile.gif I'm planning to keep them together and seperate them throughout the next few months.smile.gif

And the GTP, It's hard to get a good shot of him! But he ate yesterday, and I'm proud of that! I ordered Perch Supports so I can put in PVC pipes, but Doug Barr doesn't seem to want to email me all that much.

Oh wow Ben, Its lovely, its a juvenile right? any sign of turning green yet?
Its great its feeding well, I hear they can be difficult like that.
If you dont mind, just out of curiosity, how much does a gtp cost you over there?
cool.gif
Do you know where its from? ie locality, Oz or PNG?

_Daniel_- 12-14-2005

i think gtp's turn red b4 they turn green n blue dont they? or is that only sum of them?
anyway i love ur GTP and every other 1 biggrin.gif

Anaconda_Guy- 12-14-2005
Yes, it's a juvi, very young. No, there wont be any signs of Green for awhile I'm pretty sure.smile.gif Yes, I just got it to eat it's first meal a couple of days ago, deffidently a relief.smile.gif I don't know how much mine cost exactly, or where it was from, it was an X-Mas gift... But usually they cost anywhere from $250 (juvi) - $1500 (adults).

There are two different colors, red and yellow, both will turn green, but I just got a yellow one..smile.gif

Thanks,
Ben
