Who has snake/s that will not accept dead prey? How many feed live and how do you go about it? Do you disagree with live feeding and why?

Hi Dan, i feed my Brown tree snakes live all the time. They will occasionally take thawed/heated mice but far too irregularly, perhaps because i believe them to be originally wild caught snakes. When feeding live i feed only small mice and put them in a tall thin tupperware container which the mice can't escape from, this prevents the mice being able to attack the snakes when they sleep. I don't leave them in overnight. I believe far more people feed colubrids and elapids live prey than dead, but are hesitant to admit this on forums because of do-gooder retribution, i on the other hand dont give a crap what people think as long as my snakes are happy. The snakes look down at the mice from the top of the tupperware container and then pluck them out, the odds are very heavilly stacked against the mouse.

Hey Dan, thanks mate, we are all well enough. I have been dropping in but haven't had anything to say, and as for being a hermit I can only wish I was more of a hermit than i am but you know life calls a bloke back to the ''real'' world for those mundane things. No escaping reality for too long is there Lol. Hope you and the girls are well too.
