Im not sure where you are but in NSW they are class 2 animal, so nless you have experience then you cant get one. These are not a easy to care for reptile, they require a large area, (like a 3x3m outdoor avairy or pit) need to be fed lots, they grow large, and are not easy at all to handle, a friend of mine has one adn dont get me wrong they are fantastic but not for beginners by any means,

well you can get them tame but it does take time, my m,ates can come out of the enclosure and just wonders around, they do eat alot. you can even pat and touch his and it dont matter, so while some can be crazy you can tame them.

thats wat im hopin
my plain is get a fresh young hatchy hold it twice a day 2 4 like 2 hours
if it works out since i live in darwin and wen its big enough my room will be its home
i wish i was old enough to own my own home so i could let it rome the house but parents want the 3 dogs inside all the time

Hmmm, that would be cool, a tame Lacy, I do know Anthony Stimpsons lacy is pretty placid, from what ive seen, probly used to touching because its a display animal.
good luck with it!

In the back of my mind I can see a big lacy with a bit of dog tail fluff hangin out its mouth, and your mum sayin, "have you seen fluffkins?" LMAO laugh.gif
