Hi,

I have just aquired some eastern bearded dragons from my cousin, I had the setup all ready and everything, I didn't want to turn the lights/heat on to test because I had no idea when I would get the dragons because I just had a problem with money because of an emergency with my dog, it was really a surprise getting them so early. I am just trying to get the temps right.

He had them in an outdoor enclosure....

Rigth now it is sitting on 35-36 under the basking lamp, and 26.7 at the cool end.

Are these ok for easterns?

It was at about 39 before, so I lowered the basking log a bit....

???

Sounds good Raz thats about what mine are at, give or take a degree or two at the cool end. I hope you've got a thermostate running the heat? Very important in summer (and winter imo)
Post some pics when they arrive biggrin.gif

Though you can get away without a thermostat if the cool end is ventilated enough that it never heats up right?

Lol, right you are Parko, some folks never use them all, 'cough cough' smile.gif
But I never the less recommend using one ! tongue.gif

Yeah.... I want a thermostat... actually I need one!

The temps are driving me insane.... it was at 40 today!

Is that too hot?!?!?

I think I will go back to the 75w light instead of the 100w ceramic bulb....
