Hey Folk,
I wanted to share with you my first personal upclose elapid encounter in 30 years!
Today I held The most beautiful baby red belly black snake (RBB) Pseudechis porphyriacus That had been born the day before. This tiny baby was already active and inquisitive and sporting the lovely red belly the species is known for.

omg now i wanna hold an elapid, ill start with a taipan! aha

lol not death wish i had to do it for course and i enjoyed it and it gives you a bit more excitment in life

and i will do it again and again, then i might go climb tall buildings withou safety gear lol thats if i was fit n fat haha

Yeah that's pretty cute alright. I'm hoping to get one sometime, if they were a rare snake people would be blown away by their beauty i reckon. Funny how often a snake needs to be hard to find to get peoples interest sometimes.

Cant agree more Matty, That was a really amazing experience, even though it was only a baby, it gave me a thrill, made me look at vens in a new way. This was also the first time I had ever seen a baby one in the flesh. It looked so helpless the day before slithering weakly in the remains of the sac and afterbirth.
Re: the thirty year comment, the time before I was 7 yrs old , I was caught playing with a big coiled adult and got my backside kicked so hard, that sometimes it still hurts!
