recently i caught a geko in my bak yard it has its tail half cut off at the same place some skinks lose their tail
do any geko's drop their tail?
wat do i do its half falling off and losing colour but the geko still looks very healthy and is gettin used to handling

Aussie, Gecko's losetheir tails too, after they losethereoriginal tail, they regrow another but it lacks pattern of the original. The regenerated tail is onlyconected by softcartilige, not bone. It can be dropped again in defence, and grow another provided its sufficiently nourished. Id be a bit sus that a gecko being handled is not happy. Rather, It will be stressed and may not eat.
Avoid handling gex unless nessesary imo.
