Every Spring over Summer to the Autumn we get a lot of Perrons Tree Frogs coming onto the windows at night to catch moths attracted by the lights inside. Whilst this is a fine thing to observe & have happen I'm afraid the Wife is not looking forward to it happening again this season. Actually the first one appeared this evening so prompted me to ask for "Help" in this topic.
Is there anything I can put on the glass or timber joints as they are French type
windows & these little timber joints make a great place for a frog to sit in wait. They can spend all the time they like on the brickwork etc adjacent

These frogs are really a clever critter being able to change colour to suit the colour surroudings they inhabit. I am not a cruel person but I would just love to put one on a draughts board to see what would happen ?

With Thanks to anyone who can help ....but hurt them we must not !

Regards to All

Thank's for the reply Inny ....I will see if I can post a pic for you
I have it half right ....These are the windows but that is a wild brown snake that got into the house some time back. I will try for a new photo of the Perrons Frogs

I think I know where your talking about Myoz, but a pic would be good!
Barring a screen over the window, I dont know, maybe get a solar garden light or two out there, insects attracted might attract the frogs there aswell!

Comments: A cutie for sure Inny. He's been here since last summer. Pity he hasn't got a mate with him.He hangs around the water feature on our verandah.

Hi Chezza & Inny

Yes, I think it is a Perrons Tree Frog like we have here....I hopefully will get a photo tonight for posting. Chezza don't worry we started out with just a few which we thought very cute but now have too many & they gummy up the glass on the windows from all their ambushing of the moths. We have even had them in the past sitting inside the toilet bowls....Takes a brave person to take that seat rolleyes.gif
I have opened the door to go outside & have one jump on to my forehead biggrin.gif

See ya !
