Have to say, you're getting better and better everytime you use that camera Daniel! Nice shots! So the pump you use is it just a fish pump but a bit more special? (yeah I don't know much about pumps! My other half bought me a pump to go in my wolf cichlids tank and all I know is it is a 'shark' pump). And how often do you have to change the water? And do you need to put any solutions (like ACE) in the water and test the ph? Sorry for all the questions, just curious!

And Inny do you have water or a water feature in your frog tank? And how do you manage it? (By the way are you looking at breeding your red eyes this year?)

_Daniel_- 01-15-2006

thx foxy, the pump is nothin really special, it can be used a few ways, like low water set up like i have in my frog cage(the water in frog cage is a lil to high the water is surposed to air rate the water as well but were spits it bak out is covered by) in my frog tank i have it set up 4 high water were it has hose to suk in air and it spits air rated water out of a tube and the whole pump is submerger cept sir tube, there 2-3 more ways u can use it, i dont change the water, it loses water quite bit from bein so much moved around n the frogs soakin t up i just add more water and the pump has a 3 stage filtartion system so it keeps it clean i need to replce the charcoal and sponge everynow n again, i add no solutions and i dont test the ph on it cos i take the new water i put in it out of my fish tank and just add water to fish tank cos the chemicals in the tap water r out numbered cosits bigger

i believe inny has water in his tank like mine cept his is higher similar to my turtle cage

Nice pics Dan, looks great! The spray bar is a great idea too!
I have a similar setup!
Foxy, not this year, mine are too small, maybe next year though.
Never use chemicals at all. fill a few plastic buckets of water and leave out in the sun. uv leaches out/dissolves chlorine.
If your still looking for redeyes my mate has heaps! let me know cool.gif

Btw Dan, how do you go with feeding them in there, (roaches/crix drown) or do you handfeed or feed elsewhere?
I love those froggys Dan! Woot! laugh.gif
_Daniel_- 01-16-2006

i feed mealworns in tub in it, roaches i hand feed sumtimes but all dont like hand feedin there 1 or 2 fussy 1's other wise i put then in a different tub to feed roaches n i dont have crix so yeh
yeh i love them too!! biggrin.gif , we could have secret convo's like dis cool.gif
