Baby Beardies Hatching

Yeah, The yellow one is nice, the dad beardie is fairly yellow too, he gets really yellow (especially on his legs) when he is out in the sun... or wanting to mate etc

some eat the next day out of egg some take a few days. I have been putting them all in together to feed a few hours a day, but I take them out individually atleast once a day in chinese containers and leave them there with 5 roaches each. Some eat, some don't.

the ones that don't eat usually look like they are the youngest.

Some are shedding already too.

I have a shallow water bowl in there with them, I mist them, and I bring the water nozzle up to each ones mouth and let them drink the droplet if they want it.

I am home all the time now anyway, since I have finished work, so i keep my eye on them...

Got a new baby out of the incubator this morning that hatched yesterday, and it had some vermiculite on it's eye lids, so i carefully took it off, and the little guy opened it's mouth at me to show a cute little yellow mouth

poor thing wouldn't have known what was going on because he couldn't open his eyes because of the vermiculite.

My lot of vitticeps are starting to hatch right now!! One is completly out of the egg and another has its head out.. i think another 3 or 4 should hatch... the rest wrinkleded up.. but this fella is from one of thw wrinkled eggs so who knows!

sometimes they wrinkle a bit before hatching, you should leave the wrinkled ones for a while, unless there is no way of surviving the wrinkles.. like, if they are really dried and shriveled... or they are obviously dead.

What are you using as an incubator?

sometimes if they wrinkle too early, some moist sphagum moss ontop will re-hydrate ad save them. Pics when there done Spike!

Yeah i didnt think this one was good but i come home and saw a little hathie. I have 2 definant hatchies... out of 10 5 seem like they will hatch.. this is because the one that hatched was the worst condition out of the lot. She has 2 clutches, 10 and 12... 12 is due between the 22nd and the 27th of november. NONE OF THEM HAVE SHRIVELD UP FULLY AND GONE GREEN.
