For those who dont know, this modest bloke is almost an Australian Turtle king, right up there with Cann. Craig has been breeding for years,
there is not an australian turtle he dosent know about!

I bought my own turtles from him a few years ago as tiny hatchlings. (recent pics above)
They are considerably bigger today and bring us hours of pleasure everyday. They will see one more winter in doors and then be re-homed in a large pond outdoors.

We are very pleased to have a herper of Craigs calibre as a member of Reptile Planet and future Australian Turtle owners joining us will benefit greatly from his expert advice!
Craig has written an exemplerary caresheet for Australian Turtles, which goes into great depth and detail. We are currently working on adding Images and it will be found in our caresheet forum.

Thanks Craig

Hi Spike,

Yes I know Marc. He does a lot of quality reptile shows esp. for schools. He is also a very keen turtle keeper as well!

Since I moved to sunny Qld I haven't seen Johnny Candy for a while, although while my kids were in Sydney for a holiday they went and visited him at La Perouse. They tell me he still has quite a good sense of humour and made them laugh. I'm still waiting for one of his jovial comments re the Christmas card we sent him this year! I have attached the card for you to see. I know it's a little corny as the card has a Mary River turtle on it but it was supposed to be. We're trying to come up with a different Christmas card each year. Previously we did one with a couple of expansa on it.

herproom/cheers.gif,
Craig
