last weekend i went to fogg damn 60km from were i live it is said to have 1 of the most dieverse reptilian populations and is surposed to have big no.'s of reptiles there too but last weekends trip wasnt the best and the first time i took my cam , it wasnt good cos there was a big storm as we were drivin down and it poored down so the only thing that was out n about was frogs

i waited a long time the rain slowed up 5 mins afta i got there but it was way too strong 4 alot of thing s to cum out

Its a shame you didnt see any snakes. That place is loaded with water pythons. Its something like 3 tonnes of snakes per hectare...the highest land vertebrate density on the planet so i hear.

its rare you go out to fogg dam and not see a whole lot but i was out at fogg dam last night got to play with 3 water pythons, a long necked turtle and a few monitors that didnt let me close enough to identify in the dark but still an awsome night there are also 2 new jabaru youngsters there too young enough to feed alone but dont have the colours yet... it was truely beautiful... hope you head back out soon its play ground for reptile / wildlife lovers alike...
