On the page where you write a post, look above the typing window, you will see a large button that says "UPLOAD IMG" click that and a new window will come up where you can upload by browsing, pics direct from your computer. its pretty self explanitory, dont worry, just try it out, you'll get the hang of it! after your pic is uploaded, it gives you
a short code.
you just cut n paste that bit in the post!
Note: the site/window that comes up, allows you to upload pics immediately, however if you dont have an account there, the pic will eventually be deleted (its p[ublic), which will leave a 'image not found' pic in your post!
So....you can sign up there for a free account, then your uploaded pics will always be there, and hence will remain here too!
Alternately, just underneath the window you type in, is a link that says 'photobucket". This is another such pic storage site that works the same way!
I have added a Reptile planet photobucket account in the 'gallerys'
forum on the main page, you can create a sub album for yourself there 'Chezza's pics' etc, and we can all look at them! you might be the first to use them!
If thats confuzzeled ya, you can add an attachment, ie post a single pic only, when you type a post in add reply, this is built in to the site, but only allows you one pic per post, where the other ways allow up to 20 pics, the 'UPLOAD IMG' button, also lets you choose the size of your pic/s, both before you upload and after.
When it gives you the code like above, it shows 3 of them, listed as
*link only* TEXT LINK THAT OPENS IN NEW WINDOW
*thumbnail* SMALL PICS THAT OPENS LRG IN NEW WINDOW WHEN CLICKED
*large image* FULL SIZE PIC (PRESIZED IF YOU DID THAT BEFORE UPLOADING)
